Welcome to St. Philip's Nursery School
We offer a developmentally appropriate preschool program for three-and four-year old children. We are open in the morning five days per week, from 9:05 a.m. to 12 noon. Since 1960, we have been located in the historic Parish House of St. Philip’s Church in the Highlands in Garrison. St. Philip’s is an Episcopal Church, founded in 1770.
Every day, our goal is to help children discover joy in themselves and their accomplishments, their family and friends, and their school. We provide individualized attention, focusing on the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional. and physical growth of each child. Our sessions provide opportunities for play and for structured learning, in both mixed-age and age-defined settings. Please read about us, and then come visit and see for yourself.
School Closing Information
St. Philip’s follows the Garrison School schedule. Please bookmark the WHUD Storm Center. If Garrison has a 2 hour delay, St. Philip’s will open at 10 a.m.
